Yessir. Bang, just like that, Chapter 2 is n the books. Keep the momentum going Kyle, you’re going to hit your stride on this baby. I could feel it building myself, along with the story, as I was reading. Writing, like so many other things is a mental game, and I can tell right now that you have the wind at your back. - Jim
That was such a kind push you gave me to get out chapter two. I'm very grateful for your words of encouragement. I felt like I was over some mental hump. Now I just need to untie the Gordian knot of the rest of the story. I had this week off as a President's Day mid-winter break. I'm back to teaching 5th grade tomorrow and all the mental energy will be needed for others.
I really enjoyed Dead Reconning. The details were so well done. I was an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force at the end of the 80s. I love planes. The way you wove it all together at the end was so satisfying as a reader.
Of course Kyle, you’re gonna fly now, just in a different way. Btw, I had to do a ton of reading because my knowledge of airplanes is fundamental - at best. Especially with a Grumman Avenger from WW2. At the time this took place, it’s my understanding that they were a cutting-edge, flat-out beast.

And, thank you again.
